2021 Demon Dash 5K Run/Walk

This 5th Annual Event was a win for the GHS community as funds raised go right back to the school!
- Demon Dash raised $7.6K for GHS
- $5K will go to GHS Sports Teams and Clubs and $2.6K will go to the Demon Dash Grant Fund. The Demon Dash Grant Fund can be accessed by all the clubs/sports teams that participated in the Demon Dash.
- Cross Country had the most participants with Boys Soccer close behind – both teams raised over $1K for their teams!
- We had 170 runners participating and 30+ volunteers supporting the race including student volunteers from the Cross Country Team, Student Council, and Culinary Arts.
The Demon Dash is more than a run, it’s a community event that is a huge win for all! Thanks to those who participated, supported, volunteered, and sponsored. See you next year!

The Demon Dash raises funds for the Golden High School Sports & Clubs. Help us kick off the school year with a fun, community-building event that also RAISES FUNDS FOR YOUR SPORT/CLUB. Let’s make this year’s Demon Dash the biggest yet and increase the number of funds your Sport & Club will receive!
How do Sports/Clubs Raise Funds from Demon Dash Participation?
- For every race sign up your Sport/Club generates, your Sport/Club will receive 75% of the registration fees ($25 Student Registration Fee = $18.75 for your Sport/Club per registration)
- The race is fun and a great way to bring the team/club together to bond, kick off the new school year, and support the GHS Community!
